Philodendron Imperial Gold, also known as 金帝王萬綠絨 in Chinese, is a striking tropical plant admired for its vibrant golden foliage. It belongs to the family Araceae and the genus Philodendron.

Philodendron Imperial Gold is native to the tropical regions of South America and thrives in warm and humid environments. It prefers temperatures between 18 to 26 degrees Celsius, making it suitable for cultivation in tropical and subtropical regions.

When it comes to sunlight requirements, it thrives in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate some early morning or late afternoon direct sun, but prolonged exposure to intense sunlight should be avoided as it can scorch the leaves. Partial shade is beneficial, especially during the hottest part of the day.

Watering frequency for it depends on various factors such as temperature, humidity, and the moisture retention capacity of the potting mix. As a general guideline, water the plant when the top inch of soil feels slightly dry. Ensure thorough watering, allowing the excess water to drain out of the pot.
