Caladium praetermissum has a preference for higher temperatures. It thrives in warm climates, with the optimal temperature range being 20 to 30 degrees Celsius. Avoid exposing it to temperatures below 15 degrees Celsius as it can negatively impact its health.

Caladium praetermissum prefers bright but diffused sunlight. It is suitable for placement in a well-lit indoor location without direct sunlight. Excessive exposure to intense sunlight can cause leaf burn. If grown outdoors, choose a partially shaded or shaded spot to protect the plant from excessive exposure.
